Dearly Beloved—The New Deal has arrived—Now for all you Obama supporters out there (Hows that Hope and Change been working out for you)? Moving right along—This must come as a great shock to all the Kool-Aide drinkers out there that OBAMA WILL NOT SEEK A SECOND TERM. Lyndon Johnson saw the handwriting on the wall but Obama is a different program. What is really fascinating The Press And News Media, especially Moe Larry and Curly of Network News keeps talking Obama up and what he may do differently in order to get re-elected. Time to get a grip—Our Amateur in Chief is definitely a One Termer. What will be Obama’s legitimate excuse be to We The People for not running and how will the News Folks react? Not a problem for the Word Master who will elegantly explain—He got most everything done his first term so he does not need a second. Losing the Congressional House Big Time in November had nothing to do with His decision, OK—So what the heck. Now we get down to why the Dude won’t run. When the 112th Republican controlled Congress takes over in January and starts making a sincere effort to dismantle Obama Care, The Chosen One will simply state “I tried to make a difference and make life easier for the Dis-Advanged and the Un-Documented in America. The News Folks will get another tingle up their leg and start heaping mounds of praise. Unfortunately Private South rates Obama a number #3 as a World Leader that goes all the way back to Hoover who is rated a # 2. Will Obama decline to run in a timely gracious manner or will he play Screw The Queen and contemplate 2016? Illegal aliens are still a major problem, so will Obama Care grant Amnesty for all the Democratic votes it would create in the future?
Rita Bonilla, in Las Vegas (Who happens to be Hispanic) is very concerned about our Borders and stated recently “ Our Voting System Is Being Challenged Big Time”. OK—PVT South made a special list of 13 early on and one was (Create a sound National ID system) That would not only help voter fraud at the polls but would eliminate the costly and un-realiable Census Count taken every ten years (Translation) Our Govt. would have real numbers to work with besides the actual size of our military and in our prisons, and don’t forget Homeland Security. As for opposition to a National ID System I’m sure the ACLU would not be to thrilled but they can at this time (Kiss My Grits).

Have you noticed the price of gas at the pump lately—Even though we have been told there is plenty of oil around? Our Amateur in Chief is currently on a Green Crusade to promote small expensive Electric Edsels for We The People in the future. President Carter is rated a #3 on the World Stage who also had a different kind of energy crisis during his One Term, but Carter and Obama have a lot in common including Platitudes and Big Smile. Would you believe if President Carter had been re-elected the Berlin Wall would still be up—Dearly Beloved, have you been having a hard time keeping your powder dry lately?

The Fat Lady Sings

Dearly Beloved -- Fat Tuesday is over and The Fat Lady did her thing all over the Democrats. The Republicans have picked up at least a 60-seat majority but missed taking over the Senate by a few. Do not be surprised if some Senate Democrats change party’s to keep their seat in the future and make Mitch McConnell the new majority leader. (Could happen)
On Monday the first my local liberal daily put out a column by David Broder that stated “Obama has the tools to recover, win re-election”. David Broder is one of the most respected political reporters from the Washington Post that obviously has been sipping too much Liberal Kool-Aide. OK—Private South thought Obama would not seek a second term in January and was convinced in June. (Nothing has changed my mind) The Dude won’t run. David Broder is the Top Rung in his field and yours truly is on the bottom, so why can’t he see the handwriting on the wall because Obama has no tools to recover. When Queen Hillary makes her move will Moe, Larry, and Curly of Network News support her this time after dropping her when Obama came on the scene the last time. Speaking of Hope and Change—Have you noticed the price of gas lately at the pump?

Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama have a lot in common, including Platitudes and a Big Smile. If Carter had won re-election not only would the Berlin Wall still be up, but also the Hostages in Iran would still be there in prison. (OK Why Wouldn’t They)

Fat Tuesday

Fat Tuesday is almost here and we are not talking Mardi Gras. All the political hoopla going on about what the candidates will do if elected boils down to how they will vote in Congress. If you still love Obama Care, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid then vote Democratic, but if you think Hope and Change is turning America into a political nightmare then you know what to do.
3Rd party candidates basically just screw up the political process and usually help Democrats in the end. Conservative thinking must stay on the same political page and not go off in different directions, Tea Party Wise or Otherwise. Once upon a time my Favorite Founding Father Benjamin Franklin stated, “We should all hang together or surely we will all hang separately”. (Translation) Some mainstream Republicans in Washington need to get their act together and recognize the Tea Party Movement is nothing more than Conservative Spontaneous Outrage at Obama Care.
On the lighter side--National Public Radio has a reputation of putting out too much liberal propaganda while taking Federal Tax Dollars. Congress should cut off funding to NPR and then change their logo to LPR or Liberal Public Radio. OK That should open the door for a publicly funded conservative radio station that should be called CPR (No Pun Intended)

October Surprise

Dearly beloved, October surprise according to yours truly….Obama is looking forward to the Democrats losing control of Congress so he can blame the Republicans for whatever in the future. Obama got so much done so early he doesn’t need to run for a second term. When some of his new policies are rescinded with the next Congress the underclass along with the ACLU will protest big time because that is what they do best. Will the liberal press and news media pile on the Republicans for trying to control wasteful spending? Of course they will, especially Moe, Larry and Curly of the network news. Ok, sometime after the November landslide will Queen Hillary make her move for the Brass Ring in 2012? Recently on Fox News Donald Trump stated he is considering running for President apparently because there is too much Hope and Change going on. Dear Mr. Trump, instead of acting like Ross Perot how about supporting Rudy Giuliani and Newt Gingrich in 2012 and Newt plus whoever in 2016? They are a pair of can do individuals who can put the Hum back in America a lot quicker than some of the No Names that will surely try.

Here is a mind numbing thought. If America was diagnosed as sick and needed an Enema what state would you stick it in? Looking at all 50 California stands out for obvious reasons and to be more precise the city of San Francisco should get the hose. Remember sweet Nancy Pelosi? The Babe with the gavel, San Francisco is her Congressional district. Dearly beloved, if that is not bad enough how about Higher Education with all its Liberal professors preaching Socialism to their naïve student body? Out of all the Liberal Universities Harvard is in desperate need of an Enema. Harvard has an outstanding history of graduating several great and not so great Americans. Unfortunately what has happened is the current politically correct ruling crowd has denied the important ROTC program on its campus because the Pentagon will not allow gays to serve openly in the military. Ok time to get a grip, where would America be today including Harvard if Germany and Japan had won WWII and they could have. It only took 4 years and over 16 million American men to win not counting the millions of military from other friendly Countries. That is the good news. The bad would be if We The People had to fight WWII all over again with today’s young men and women the outcome would be UGLY.

Dearly beloved, on the lighter side have you noticed the price of gasoline today while at the same time all the oil rigs in the Gulf are still shut down? The moratorium has been lifted, but let’s see how long it takes before they are allowed to drill again. Also Obama recently stated the Republicans have been treating him like a Dog. Ok Obama has been treating those same Republicans like a Fire Plug.

Football

Football is here so it must be September- Hello Labor Day, goodbye Summer. Ok, we the people are less than two months away from the anticipated big political touchdown, the Republicans are going to make this November (translation, fumble this one dearly beloved and be prepared for six more years of Hope and Change). Not to worry as Pvt. South stated in the past The Dude won't seek a second term. Some disgruntled Democrats are floating the idea Hillary should run for the Brass Ring or at least replace Joe Biden with little Miss Sunshine. Give me a break, Joe is not the problem but if he is thrown under the campaign bus get ready for Long Live The Queen!

Now we have another Manhattan project going on about putting a large Mosque just two blocks away from Ground Zero. President Obama and New York Mayor Bloomberg gave the new construction job the green light but to most New Yorkers the Mosque should be built somewhere else. Time to get a grip. If New Yorkers were given the choice of putting the Mosque or a Wal-Mart next to Ground Zero which would they likely choose? Manhattan has several Mosques already but zero Wal-Marts. You would think with the millions of people in New York they would make room for at least one. After nine years all Ground Zero has to show for itself is a seven story hole in the ground.

Ok Nevada, Las Vegas is my favorite place to visit. Liberals call it Sin City, but Conservatives refer to it as Disneyland for adults. After just 2 years of Hope and Change the Hum has been taken out of Las Vegas so here is a mind numbing thought. Where would America be today (especially Vegas) if McCain had won? This November Nevada can help turn the tide by electing Sharon Angle to the U.S. Senate. Ok, so she is female but not like Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Barbara Boxer or Dianne Feinstein. And some people can't understand why California is so screwed up. Sharon is a Conservative and you know what Harry Reed is and his pal Obama who not long ago stated on TV that folks should stay away from Las Vegas.

On the lighter side- Obama and Big Al Gore love to Think Green no matter the cost to we the people in the future. Replacing gasoline with electricity so cars of the future can run on battery is a unique idea but what is the downside? If you are old enough to remember President Carter gave us the not too thrilling Susan B. Anthony dollar and if he had won re-election the Berlin Wall would still be up. Dearly beloved, now in order to reduce our dependency on foreign oil Obama is promoting an expensive energy saving "Electric Edsel!"

The Dog Days

Dearly Beloved,

The dog days of summer are here and just 3 months away from the BIG November election. This past June yous truly stated "Obama will not seek a second term" and the Chosen One may not even know it yet. When he finally sees the handwriting on the wall it will come as a great shock to all the Kool-Aid drinkers who love him. Ok... Will Obama decline a second term in a timely, gracious manner or will he play "Screw the Queen" and contemplate 2016? Now is the time for all conservative thinking to stay on the same political page and concentrate on this November and 2012. We are talking (Tea Party wise)and (otherwise).

Now comes the boring Dog and Pony Show of picking a credible conservative candidate for the 2012 Presidential election. All that could be avoided if We The People went after a pair of experienced political Top Guns who can put the HUM back in America in a hurry. Time to get a grip. Pvt. South would like to see Rudy Giuliani and Newt Gingrich on the 2012 ticket and Newt Gingrich in 2016 with a VP to named later. Ok... What did We The People learn in the last Presidential election? You do not put an amateur in the White House promising "Hope and Change" and then come up way short. Looking back, Romney is too nice, Huckabee, too religious, and Sarah Palin, too attractive but she would make a great RNC Chairman in the future and even a better Energy Secretary. Speaking of energy, how much are you currently paying for a gallon of gas and why do you think it is so high?

Big surprise, a female Federal Judge appointed by Slick Willy blocked the Arizona Immigration Law from going into effect. One never knows, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton may be a future Supreme Court Nominee. Wow, that would make 4 liberal babes on the bench. Recently in California a liberal, gay Judge struck down the will of 7 million voters over gay marriage. Makes you wonder what ever happened to the term We The People.

Dearly Beloved, on the lighter side on keeping your powder dry, if the coming November elections go very conservative will the Democratic Party take a serious look at reinventing itself or continue on their liberal path and wait until the next election?.................Pvt. South

Bits and Pieces

Dearly Beloved, the 4th of July has “come and went” so after 234 years what would the 56 Founding Fathers that signed the Declaration of Independence think if they could come back and check out what We The People have been up to. How would they react especially these past 50 years? Pvt. South thinks they would simply gag or throw up. Speaking of throwing up how would the Democrats react if Sarah Palin became RNC Chairman in the future?

Senator Robert Byrd passed away at 92 and Senator Strom Thurmond made it to 100. Why do so many Americans beat the drum about “Term Limits” when We The People should be paying more attention to “Age Limits”. Pvt. South thinks every government job in The U.S. should end at 75 including members of the Supreme Court. Term limits NO, age limits YES!

The second amendment just squeaked by 5 to 4 but it’s future is in doubt if we get a couple more women on the Supreme Court. Elena Kagan hearing could be summed up as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, if it were left up to the Democrats in charge.

Several cities and states are going broke because of “Excessive Liberal Government”, with California and New York leading the way. The first big clue is, just check out their representation, California has 2 outstanding female liberal Senators and out of 53 members of Congress only 19 are Republican. The state of New York is even worse. With 2 liberal Senators and out of 29 members of congress only 3 are Republican. See what happens when you tax success and reward failure for a long period of time, and don’t forget all their wonderful entitlements and giveaways. Makes you wonder how many members of Congress are in Manhattan alone when the entire state of Alaska is allowed only 1.

That BIG OIL SLICK in the Gulf of Mexico is turning Obama into a TAR BABY. Obama is staying the course even under severe criticism, including criminal neglect, after 80 days of gushing with no end in sight. Obama also recently stated” No nation should have an advantage over another” Wow! Russia and China would certainly love that double dumb idea.

Will Obamacare grant amnesty to most of the illegal’s in America to help boost the Democratic vote in the future? It would appear to some folks that our Amateur in Chief is just getting even with the Founding Fathers and the White Man for Slavery.

Dearly beloved, on the lighter side…… Once upon a time in Arizona a van with 6 Hispanics is pulled over for speeding and after further investigation discover 3 are illegal. Ok, can the 3 legal Hispanics sue for Racial Profiling? Keeping your powder dry in Arizona now has a lot to be desired………...Pvt. South
